Chloe lives with my mother, who has spent most of her life caring for other people. Chloe has become one more responsibility she didn't ask for — and I watch her struggle with it from a distance, not knowing how to help.
Finding the right care for an older dog in New York City is genuinely hard. Most services weren't built with senior dogs in mind — and the gap falls on the families who love them most.
